Little BigPaw makes another Big Charity Donation
Little BigPaw, the UK based premium pet food brand, has once again been supporting the great work done by pet rescue centres who are struggling to remain open during these difficult timesThe RSPCA Newcastle and North Northumberland took delivery of nearly 5,000 meals of Little BigPaw pet food generously donated by the Little BigPaw team.
Louise Brooke – Rehoming Coordinator said “RSPCA Newcastle and North Northumberland are incredibly grateful to Little BigPaw for their very generous donation of food for the dogs in our care, especially during these uncertain times where we have lost much needed income from our charity shops and fundraising activities. We have continued to care for our dogs and cats who are awaiting rehoming, as well as any new arrivals brought in by our Inspectors during this crisis. While we have recently been able to start rehoming some of our dogs and cats following new procedures, many of our animals will remain in our care until restrictions are lifted further. It is great to be able to feed them well during their stay, as feeding time is often a highlight of the day!’
The photos show Bambi, a young brindle lurcher brought in by our Inspectors just a few days before lockdown, who was fascinated when the delivery of Little BigPaw arrived. She has been enjoying the food this week while she recovers from neuter. Second photo shows Marth and Faye, two senior ShihTzus who were rescued with several others by one of our Inspectors following serious concerns for their welfare. Martha and Faye are especially grateful for Little BigPaw as they have had 18 teeth removed between them following a dental earlier this week.”
Karen Smith – Operations Manager, Little BigPaw said “ It seems our donation came just in the nick of time following an influx of emergency cases,
